1. General Policy Overview
Due to the nature of landscaping and outdoor service work, all sales are considered final once services have been performed or materials have been installed. However, we stand behind the quality of our workmanship and will address any legitimate concerns in accordance with the terms below.
2. Eligibility for Returns or Refunds
Returns or refunds may only be considered under the following conditions:
Services were not performed as outlined in the signed agreement or estimate
Materials installed were incorrect, defective, or substantially different from what was approved
There is a verifiable workmanship issue directly caused by our crew
We do not offer refunds for:
Change of mind after work has been scheduled or completed
Natural plant decline due to weather, soil conditions, irrigation issues, or lack of maintenance
Pre-existing site conditions not disclosed prior to work
Delays caused by weather, supplier shortages, or circumstances outside our control
3. Timeframe for Claims
All concerns must be submitted within:
72 hours of service completion for general workmanship issues
24 hours for incorrect materials or installation discrepancies
Failure to notify within this timeframe constitutes acceptance of the completed work.
4. Condition Requirements
To qualify for any correction or partial refund:
The installed work must remain unaltered and accessible for inspection
No third party may modify or repair the work prior to our assessment
Photographic evidence may be required
5. Return / Correction Process
To initiate a claim, the client must:
Contact us directly using the information below. Make this claim in writing
Provide:
Full name and service address
Description of the issue
Photos (if applicable)
We will:
Review the claim
Schedule an inspection if necessary
Determine corrective action at our sole discretion
6. Resolution & Refund Terms
If a claim is approved, resolution may include:
Repair or correction of the work at no additional cost
Partial refund based on the portion of work deemed deficient
Material replacement where applicable
Refunds (if issued):
Will be processed within 5–10 business days after resolution agreement
Will be returned via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed
7. Deposits & Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been purchased or work has been scheduled
If cancellation occurs prior to project start, refunds may be issued minus incurred costs (materials, labor, scheduling impacts)
8. Chargebacks & Disputes
Clients agree to contact H&M Top Notch Landscaping directly to resolve any issues prior to initiating a chargeback.
Filing a chargeback without giving reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue may be considered a breach of agreement.
